4. Made-to-Order Products

Many of our products are produced only after an order has been placed.

As a result, products may not be manufactured or held as traditional retail inventory before purchase.

Once an order enters production, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

Please carefully review your order before completing your purchase.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes a request to purchase the selected products.

An order may be subject to review before fulfillment.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order for reasons including:

Payment disputes

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, an applicable refund will be issued for the canceled portion of the order.

Payments are processed through Shopify and/or third-party payment providers available through our checkout.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

We are not responsible for delays caused by your financial institution, payment provider, or payment authorization process.

7. Order Changes and Cancellations

Because products may enter production shortly after an order is submitted, cancellation requests must be made as soon as possible.

An order may generally be canceled before production begins.

Once production has started, cancellation may no longer be available.

Changes to products, including size, color, quantity, or other order details, may also become unavailable once an order has been submitted or entered production.

If a cancellation is approved, the applicable refund will generally be returned to the original payment method.

8. Shipping Information

Melanated Elevation uses third-party manufacturing, fulfillment, and shipping providers to produce and deliver orders.

Production time and shipping transit time are separate.

Shipping estimates represent estimated transit time after an order has been fulfilled and handed to the carrier. They do not necessarily include production time.

Shipping estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Delivery may be affected by:

Production volume
Shipping method
Fulfillment location
Carrier delays
Customs
Weather
Holidays
Incorrect customer information
Transportation disruptions
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

9. Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.

Please verify your name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state or province, postal code, country, and phone number when required.

If an order is still eligible for an address update, we may be able to assist.

However, address changes are not guaranteed and may become unavailable once production or shipping has progressed.

Any additional shipping charges, taxes, or other costs resulting from an eligible address change may be charged to the customer.

Orders that have already shipped generally cannot have their shipping address changed.

10. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements

Because our products are frequently made to order, we do not generally accept ordinary returns or exchanges simply because a customer changes their mind or selects the wrong size, color, or product.

Eligible claims may include:

Manufacturing defects
Misprints
Damaged products
Incorrect products
Certain fulfillment errors
Qualifying lost packages
